Last round of Offcamber XC series

So the last round of the series and much drier conditions. I was able to stand on the climbs which is much better for me. Hard race all the way through in close company with some other riders. Dropped my chain twice on lap 2 so had some ground to make up on the last lap.

Finished 11th, pleased with the result as the fast group was bigger than previous rounds.

Great relaxed series.

The pump track at Moors  Valley is being redesigned,  couldn't wait for it to be finished so gave it a try half done. A visit Wednesday evening too showed it's getting bigger,  height wise! Will be back soon!

4 laps of the Moors Valley trail

Limited ride time this weekend so opted for some laps of the local trail. Managed  some quickish laps despite it being pretty busy. Dry Sunday it's to be expected.

Somewhere new, Ferndown Forest

Didn't feel like racing so went somewhere different on the mountain bike. Ferndown Forest, it's not big but hides some pretty fun trails. I'm sure there were more to find too. I'll be back http://youtu.be/8tsEfURFt34 the ride there and back was pretty muddy!

10 mile ride

First ten mile ride with my five year old. Here showing off his winter tan lines. He doesn't feel the cold!
